Questions & Answers
Can we visit CozyCat Inn before making a reservation?
If you would like to tour our facility before booking, please contact us by phone or email at least three (3) days in advance to schedule an appointment.
However, to minimize disturbance to our current feline guests, we are unable to accommodate unscheduled walk-in visits.
How far in advance should I book a room?
CozyCat Inn offers a variety of suite types, and availability—especially during holidays—can be limited. We strongly recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred dates.
Does CozyCat Inn have seasonal pricing?
Yes. Seasonal pricing and/or minimum stay requirements may apply during peak periods, including Christmas, New Year, Spring Break, and Summer Break. Details will be updated accordingly during these times.
What is your cancellation policy? Is my deposit refundable?
To help us accommodate as many feline guests as possible, CozyCat Inn requires 10 days’ notice for cancellations:
- More than 10 days before check-in: Full deposit refund
- Within 10 days of check-in: Deposit is non-refundable
Can I get a refund for unused nights if I check out early?
Because we reserve the suite exclusively for your cat, early checkouts also require 10 days’ notice.
- If notice is given within 10 days of the revised checkout date, we reserve the right to charge for up to three additional nights.
- If notice is given more than 10 days in advance, charges will apply only through the revised checkout date.
Examples:
- Example 1: Checkout changed from Oct 10 to Oct 7, notice given on Oct 2 (within 10 days). Charges may apply for Oct 8–10.
- Example 2: Checkout changed from Oct 10 to Oct 7, notice given on Sept 26 (more than 10 days). Charges apply only through Oct 7.
What if I cannot pick up my cat at the scheduled time due to special circumstances?
If you are unable to pick up your cat as scheduled, we will attempt to contact your designated emergency contact.
During this time, all non-essential services will be suspended. We will continue to provide essential care only, including:
- Food and water
- Litter maintenance
- Shelter
- Required medication administration
If your cat is not collected within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time and we are unable to reach you or your emergency contact, the cat will be considered abandoned. At that point, the cat may be transferred to a third-party adoption partner, animal control, or a government agency. Ownership may be forfeited in such cases.
What health checks are required at check-in?
- Flea Check
If your cat goes outdoors or has been in contact with outdoor animals, please ensure they are flea-free. Any cat found to have fleas must be treated at least 48 hours prior to check-in.
- Flea Check
If fleas are discovered during the stay, we reserve the right to administer treatment immediately. Any related medication or veterinary costs will be added to your invoice.
- General Health
All cats must be in good overall health. Upon check-in, we perform a visual wellness check, including eyes, ears, nose, coat, limbs, and general condition. Please inform us of any known health concerns in advance. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of illness or potentially contagious conditions.
